Q4 ABOUT

Building self-esteem & skills

OUR STORY

At Q4 Access, we aim to balance the scales.

People often can’t see potential, even if it sits right under their eyes, outperforming everyone else. They may use routine and irrelevant measures as filters in selection and so miss people whose talents have already lead them to a natural specialisation.

Here at Q4 Access we’re able to recognise and nurture these talents so that others may recognise them too.

Q4 Access to education, employment or developing your own path.

SPECIALIST SUPPORT

At Q4 Access, we aim to balance the scales.

Specialist Support provided by Q4 Access allows us to follow the directions of our clients which present themselves responsively.  We can progress through projects giving natural flow relevant to the person being tutored.

Our flexible tutors can provide individualised and focused sessions that build a broad based set of skills and knowledge relevant to the digital industry.

OUR STAFF

Karen Upton

Karen Upton

Chair of Trustees

Hi, my name is Karen and I’ve spent 26 years as a Bexley GP with special interests including safeguarding children and children’s services. I have been involved with parents of children with special needs particularly in social communication, and autistic spectrum disorders. My motivation is a wish to allow people to showcase their achievements and gain skills in subjects they wish to pursue and encourge a joy of learning in subjects they are interested in, rather than externally driven targets which would oterwise exclude them from following their dreams.

Anthony Francis

Anthony Francis

Tutor

Hi, my name is Anthony but most people just call me Ant. I graduated from Ravensbourne after studying Animation. The skill set I acquired covers many sections of digital media including 2D/3D and stop motion animation, 3D modelling, texturing, rigging, rendering, special effects and editing. I have been working with people with communication difficulties for over a year now and I have seen marked improvements from all of my students. Whether they wish to pursue digital media as a career or just as a hobby, they all have a lot of fun.
